Frequently Asked Questions
Why partner with the Georgia Festival of Trees?
Partnering with the Georgia Festival of Trees is an opportunity to connect your business or organization with thousands of guests while supporting an event built around community, volunteerism, and an important cause.
Partnerships help make the Festival possible while supporting our work to raise awareness and funds to help end the sexual exploitation of children in Georgia.
What sponsorship opportunities are available?
We offer partnerships at a variety of investment levels, from major Festival partnerships to sponsorships of specific attractions, experiences, Community Days, volunteer programs, signage, entertainment, and more.
We can also work with you to identify an opportunity that aligns with your organization’s goals and budget.
What benefits are included with sponsorship?
Benefits vary by partnership level and may include Festival tickets, VIP invitations, website recognition, social media exposure, on-site signage, digital recognition, opportunities to engage with Festival guests, and other benefits.
Can my company sponsor a specific area or experience?
Yes. Many Festival experiences are available for individual sponsorship, including guest attractions, children’s activities, Community Days, volunteer programs, entertainment, photo experiences, and other high-visibility areas. Availability is limited, and some opportunities are exclusive to one partner.
Do you offer custom sponsorship packages?
Yes. Not every partnership fits neatly into a sponsorship level. We are happy to discuss custom opportunities, particularly when a company has a specific marketing, community engagement, or employee involvement goal.
Can we provide products or services instead of a monetary sponsorship?
Yes. We consider in-kind partnerships for products and professional services that directly offset Festival expenses or enhance the guest experience. The sponsorship value and benefits are determined based on the goods or services provided and the needs of the Festival.
Can our employees volunteer at the Festival?
Absolutely. Employee volunteer groups are an important part of the Georgia Festival of Trees. We can help identify volunteer opportunities that work well for your team, including opportunities before, during, and after the Festival.
Can sponsors have employees attend the Festival?
Yes. Many sponsorship levels include complimentary Festival tickets that can be shared with employees, clients, customers, or guests. The number of tickets depends on your partnership level. Additional tickets may also be purchased.
Are sponsors invited to the Festival’s VIP events?
Sponsorship levels include invitations to our VIP and Sponsor events, including special opportunities surrounding the opening of the Festival. Your sponsorship agreement will specify the number of invitations included.
Will our logo appear on the Georgia Festival of Trees website?
Most sponsorship levels include website recognition. Logo placement and visibility vary based on sponsorship level. Sponsors should provide a high-resolution logo in the requested format so we can represent their brand properly.
Will you promote our partnership on social media?
Social media recognition is included with select partnership levels. We also encourage our partners to share their involvement with their own audiences. Our team provides sponsors with Festival information and digital resources to make sharing the partnership easy.
Can we promote our business at the Festival?
Some partnerships include opportunities for on-site activation, displays, guest engagement, promotional materials, or other forms of visibility. Because we want to protect the guest experience, all on-site activities must be approved in advance.
Can we distribute promotional materials or giveaways?
Only when included in your sponsorship agreement or approved by the Festival. Giveaways, printed materials, signage, displays, QR codes, and other promotional items must be approved before the Festival.
When are sponsorship commitments due?
We encourage partners to commit as early as possible. Earlier commitments give us more time to include your organization in marketing, website recognition, signage, and other benefits.
Some opportunities may close earlier because of production and printing deadlines. Sponsors onboarding after October 1st will not be included in printed materials, but will receive all digital assets as described in the sponsorship agreement.
When do you need our logo and other materials?
Sponsors will receive deadlines and instructions for submitting logos, advertisements, signage information, guest lists, and other required materials. Meeting these deadlines helps ensure that all of your included benefits can be provided.
Is a sponsorship tax-deductible?
The Georgia Festival of Trees is produced by Unto the Least of These, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The tax-deductible portion of a sponsorship can vary depending on the benefits received. Sponsors should consult their tax advisor regarding their individual circumstances.
What happens after we become a sponsor?
Once your partnership is confirmed, our team will provide information about your benefits, important deadlines, tickets, logo submission, Festival logistics, and other details specific to your partnership. You won’t be left wondering what comes next. We’ll help you through the process from commitment through the Festival.
