The Georgia Festival of Trees is an annual family Christmas event in metro Atlanta filled with decorated Christmas trees, holiday displays, children’s activities, live entertainment, Santa visits, cookie decorating, holiday shopping and festive experiences for all ages.
Held at the Gas South Convention Center in Duluth, Georgia, the Festival brings families, friends and the community together to celebrate the Christmas season while supporting a greater cause.

Yes. The Georgia Festival of Trees is a family-friendly Christmas event with activities and experiences created for children as well as adults.
Kids can enjoy Santa visits, cookie decorating, LEGO activities, holiday displays, entertainment and other activities throughout the Festival. There is plenty to see and do without the experience feeling like an event that is only for young children.

What is included with admission?
General admission gives guests access to the Georgia Festival of Trees and its main displays, entertainment and many Festival activities.
Guests can explore beautifully decorated Christmas trees and holiday displays, watch live entertainment, enjoy children’s activities, decorate cookies, visit Santa and experience the Festival’s holiday attractions.
Santa visits and the opportunity to take your own photos with Santa are included with admission. Optional professional keepsake photo products are available for purchase.
Shopping, cookie decorating, The Pink Pig* ride, auction purchases, food and other merchandise are purchased separately.

How long should I plan to stay?
Most guests should plan to spend at least two to three hours at the Georgia Festival of Trees.
Families who want to visit Santa, decorate cookies, enjoy children’s activities, watch live entertainment, shop and explore the decorated trees may want to allow several hours.
There is no need to rush through the Festival. Check the daily schedule before you arrive if there is a particular performance, activity or special event you don’t want to miss.
Is the Georgia Festival of Trees indoors?
Yes. The Georgia Festival of Trees is an indoor Christmas event held inside the Gas South Convention Center, located at 6400 Sugarloaf Parkway, Duluth, GA 30097.
That makes it a good option when you’re looking for Christmas activities in Atlanta that don’t depend on the weather. Guests can enjoy the beautiful trees, Santa, entertainment, shopping and children’s activities – all indoors!
Is parking available?
Yes. Parking is available at the Gas South District.
Parking Deck 1 provides the easiest access to the Convention Center and includes designated accessible parking spaces.
The current daily parking rate is $10 per vehicle. There is no parking re-entry, so guests who leave and return will need to pay for parking again.
Can we see Santa at the Georgia Festival of Trees?
Yes. Santa visits are one of the most popular family experiences at the Georgia Festival of Trees.
Santa is scheduled to appear throughout the Festival. No appointment is required. Visits are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Families are welcome to take photos using their own phone or camera as part of their Santa visit. Optional keepsake photo products are also available for purchase.
Depending on attendance in the Santa area, families can generally expect approximately three to five minutes with Santa.
Because Santa takes occasional breaks and his hours can vary by day, check the current Santa schedule before visiting.
Is the Georgia Festival of Trees accessible?
Yes. Gas South Convention Center is ADA compliant, and the Georgia Festival of Trees works to make the Festival welcoming to guests with disabilities.
The Convention Center has elevators, escalators and accessible parking. Guests who use wheelchairs should bring their own wheelchair, as wheelchairs are not provided on site.
A limited number of motorized scooters are available for rent on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Festival also hosts a Physical & Developmental Disabilities Community Day with special sensory hours designed to provide a quieter Festival experience.
What ages is the Georgia Festival of Trees best for?
The Georgia Festival of Trees is designed for all ages.
Young children can enjoy Santa, cookie decorating and children’s activities. Older children and teens can explore the displays, activities, shopping and entertainment. Adults can enjoy the designer trees, holiday décor, performances, auction, shopping and the atmosphere of the Festival.
And because so many different activities happen in one location, families with children of different ages can enjoy the Festival together.
The Festival is also a popular outing for grandparents, couples, groups of friends and anyone looking for a festive way to start the Christmas season.
What makes the Georgia Festival of Trees different from other Atlanta Christmas attractions?
The Georgia Festival of Trees brings many different Christmas experiences together in one indoor location.
Instead of visiting only a light display, Santa experience, holiday market or children’s attraction, guests can explore decorated trees and holiday displays, visit Santa, enjoy live entertainment, decorate cookies, shop, participate in children’s activities and discover something different throughout the Festival.
The centerpiece of the Festival is a collection of beautifully decorated Christmas trees and holiday décor created and donated by businesses, designers, organizations and members of the community. Many of these displays are part of the Festival’s holiday auction.
But the Georgia Festival of Trees is about more than Christmas entertainment.
The Festival is produced by Unto the Least of These, Inc., a Georgia nonprofit organization. The event helps bring people together through volunteerism, builds community and supports year-round efforts to prevent exploitation and trafficking and strengthen resources for survivors.
That combination of holiday celebration, community involvement and purpose is at the heart of the Georgia Festival of Trees.
