Auction Competition Chair

Join us as the Volunteer Auction Competition Chair and be the driving force behind Georgia's Festival of Trees’ competitions! As a key player in our team, you’ll work alongside our amazing festival team to oversee entries for the People's Choice Competition, collaborate with the Auction Director and Executive Team to ensure fair play, and make sure that the winning trees sparkle at our Opening Night Gala. If you're tech-savvy, a strong communicator, and a team player ready to dive into all aspects of the festival, we want you on our team! Your commitment will include pre-festival planning, coordination tasks, and being there on opening day.

Join the excitement as an Auction Decorating Day Chair! We need a super-organized person to lead our volunteers and support the auction donors as they decorate their large and small trees onsite. Your role involves planning ahead, managing volunteers, building relationships with donors, overseeing setup, solving any issues that arise, and making sure everything runs smoothly. We're looking for someone with great communication skills, a can-do attitude, and the stamina to be on their feet during setup.

This role requires you to be the primary contact for competitors, maintain detailed records, collaborate with the Children's Area Director and Executive Team for festival updates, coordinate the judging process, and celebrate the talent of the participants during the award ceremony.
